Once upon a time in a quiet neighbourhood, there lived Gargi, a mom of two – H, aged six, and little S, two. It was a house filled with laughter, warmth, and, most importantly, books.
Gargi’s love for books had been a lifelong passion. She could still vividly remember her own childhood, where books were her companions, her escape into worlds unknown. It was a memory she wished to pass on to her children. Each night, she would read to her children, even before they could understand the words. She knew the magic of storytelling was not just in the tales themselves, but in the bond it created between them.
Over the years, Gargi’s collection of children’s books grew to 1500 books, carefully categorized by age and theme, from the simplest board books for S to elaborate chapter books that sparked H’s imagination. Gargi wanted to share the joy and magic of books with many more children. And so, one day, she transformed her childhood home into a children’s library for ages 0 to 6.
The library then added toys and workshops, carefully selected to encourage imaginative play and cognitive development. Now, it was a place where little minds could explore, create, and learn.
Gargi is certified in the Educaring® Approach (www.rie.org) and so, she began offering parent – infant guidance classes, where questions were encouraged, worries were soothed, and where the magic of watching a child grow was celebrated.
Gargi’s “Circle of Love” had become a community hub, where every child’s story could begin, and every parent’s journey could flourish.
