Parents should submit their selections at least a day in advance, if not earlier.
Deliveries are made once a week within a 2 km radius of Juhu. Deliveries beyond this area will be chargeable at Rs. 50 per run. You can also pick up or drop off the items with prior notice.
Contact Information
Membership entails agreeing to receive communication via email or WhatsApp regarding library membership, schedule changes, upcoming workshops, and other notifications. Saving our contact number on your phone will allow you to access our broadcast messages.
Members are responsible for updating the library about any changes to their primary contact details and address.
Caring for Books and Toys
Refrain from using any cleaning agents, sanitizers, or disinfectants on the items, as they are already cleaned upon return.
Store books and toys in a secure place, keeping them away from pets, food, liquids, and art/craft supplies.
Ensure your hands are clean before engaging with library items.
Avoid drawing or colouring on any library items.
If any item has been damaged, bring to the librarian’s notice. Do not try to repair it yourself as the librarian is trained to do so.
Handle items with care, turn pages gently, use bookmarks, and return all parts of games or toys to their packaging.
Caring for the Environment
Circle of Love is a private space with admission and membership rights reserved. The library is not liable for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or any loss or damage to individuals or belongings.
The library is not intended for work or study purposes. Outside reading materials or toys are not permitted.
No food or beverages are allowed, and bags must be deposited in the designated area.
Keep mobile phones on silent and step outside for phone calls.
Children must be accompanied by a parent, who assumes full responsibility for their health, safety, and behaviour.
General photography and filming, including people, premises or articles, is prohibited.
Explanation of Fees, Rentals, and Borrowing Information
A one-time registration fee of Rs. 250 is applicable to all plans.
The maximum borrowing period is 14 days, with a late fee of Rs. 10 per day per book and Rs. 30 per day per toy for overdue items. Late fees need to be paid before you issue your next set of items.
Items can be reissued for an additional week if no other members have requested them.
Repair charges for damage, breakage, or loss will be deducted from the deposit, with additional payment required if the deposit is insufficient.
Unrestorable books or toys must be reimbursed at their replacement cost.
Plans are valid until the term expires or the cash balance is depleted.
The refundable security deposit is returned upon the end of membership, after deducting dues, renewals, late fees, and fines for damaged items.
Memberships are non-transferrable, and items are only issued to members.
Certain categories of books, such as illustrated, large-format, rare, out-of-print, and reference books, will be issued one at a time only.
Certain large sized toys, such as gross motor/ movement toys, will be issued one at a time only.
Failure to return books or toys for over 45 days results in the forfeiture of the security deposit.
